Paylocity + FleetWage

Export per-stop pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions directly to Paylocity with one-click CSV export.

Overview

FleetWage generates Paylocity-formatted CSV files that import directly into your Paylocity account. After processing payroll with FleetWage's automated per-stop pay calculations, export the finalized data to Paylocity for paycheck generation and tax filing.

Paylocity is a popular HR and payroll platform among mid-size FedEx ISP operators because it bundles payroll with applicant tracking, performance management, and a strong driver-facing mobile app. The piece Paylocity doesn't solve out of the box is FedEx-specific pay logic: stops, packages, sixth-day rules, route bonuses, and fuel deductions all have to come from somewhere. FleetWage is that somewhere.

Each pay period, FleetWage takes the FedEx settlement data and time card hours, runs the full per-stop calculation, applies any deductions or bonuses, and produces a Paylocity-formatted CSV ready to import. You get Paylocity's polished employee experience and the specialized ISP payroll math underneath, without having to choose between them.

Why Paylocity Matters for FedEx ISP Contractors

Many ISP owners chose Paylocity specifically for its driver-facing tools — the mobile app, electronic onboarding, and self-service paystubs reduce HR overhead noticeably. But Paylocity's payroll engine isn't built for the kind of variable, route-based pay that FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery contractors deal with every week. Without FleetWage, ISP owners using Paylocity tend to maintain a parallel spreadsheet: route the FedEx settlement data through Excel, calculate per-stop pay manually, then key totals into Paylocity. It works, but it's brittle and slow. FleetWage replaces that spreadsheet with a deterministic calculation and a one-click export — the same Paylocity workflow, with hours of manual cleanup removed.

Common Use Cases

How FedEx ISP contractors use FleetWage with Paylocity every week.

Fleets with strong driver self-service expectations

If you've trained drivers to use Paylocity's mobile app for paystubs, time-off requests, and onboarding, FleetWage lets you keep that experience while fixing the back-end pay calculation.

ISPs running blended pay models

When you mix per-stop drivers, salaried managers, and hourly helpers in a single CSA, FleetWage produces clean separate pay items in the Paylocity export so each driver type imports correctly.

Multi-CSA operators consolidating HR in Paylocity

Paylocity scales well across multiple CSAs. FleetWage exports per-company files matched to your Paylocity company structure, so each CSA's payroll imports independently and cleanly.

Best Practices & Tips

Advice from FedEx ISP contractors who use FleetWage with Paylocity.

  • Match the earnings codes in Paylocity to FleetWage's output exactly: Regular, Overtime, Bonus, Holiday, Sixth Day. Mismatched codes are the top reason an otherwise clean export fails on import.
  • Run the first export to a test environment in Paylocity if your Paylocity rep gives you access. It's much easier to fix a code mapping issue against a sandbox than against a live payroll.
  • Map FleetWage deductions (uniforms, fuel, advances) to existing Paylocity deduction codes rather than creating new ones. Paylocity handles existing codes more reliably during year-end W-2 generation.
  • If you use Paylocity's Employee Navigator integration for benefits, keep enrollments in Paylocity — FleetWage doesn't manage benefit deductions, only fleet-specific deductions.
